Weather of Jakarta - Cities located close to equator generally remain hot throughout the year and Jakarta is no exception. The weather of Jakarta is typically tropical and the temperature fluctuates between 25°C to 28°C around the year. The only welcome respite is gentle breeze that blows in from the sea and helps keep the capital city of Indonesia cool. There are very less fluctuations in the temperatures around Jakarta. The city doesn't have much variety to offer when it comes to seasons.

Jakarta has been endowed with only two seasons by the Mother Nature, namely wet and dry. The rainy season starts from October and lasts till March. Dry seasons come from May to September. It is generally very humid in Jakarta, hence making the weather around Jakarta quite sticky.
